Hello!

And welcome to this Pastoral Search Page for Grace Bible Church of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

My name is Paul Peabody, and it has been my privilege to be a leader in shepherding the families here at Grace Bible Church for the past 30+ years. Grace Bible Church is actively praying and seeking for a man of God’s choosing to come to this congregation and join our Elder Team to provide full time pastoral leadership. If you are on this page because you are interested in being that man, then we pray that God will guide you as you get acquainted with us.

Grace Bible Church is currently about 350 individuals in about 110 family units. Some are in their 90’s and some are infants, along with folks in all the ages between. Each family and each individual is important to God and to us, and it is our privilege to stand beside them, teach them, and guide them in their walk with our Savior, the Lord Jesus.

The Elders at Grace Bible Church have chosen a verse to summarize their attitude toward the people of this congregation. It is Colossians 1:28: “Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” We as elders take pastoral care for every person in the congregation very seriously, and we want the next pastor to do the same. Although we have a building and have set aside funds to build a new building, the people here are far more important than any program or building, so we are looking for a pastor/shepherd to come and help us care for the people in the church here.

Finally, we are not looking for a professional pastor who comes to serve for a few years and then moves on. Instead, we are looking for a shepherd who wants to come and be a part of our congregation for a good long time.
